We can't help it but like to go back. As we did already 5 times. Great location next to the authentic Portuguese village of Pêra. Far enough from the crowds of Armacão but close enough to the unspoiled beach of Praia Grande. And its central in the Algarve for discovery excursions both to the east,west and the mountains in the north of the Algarve. Great pool, nice pool bar with superb snacks. Cleaning ladies are marvellous and make sure the little house is spic and span. Great spot if you want to experience the authentic Algarve. Car is needed but it gives also the freedom to discover things. Never had any problem and Cristina and the staff are of an extremely friendliness.There is even a self service laundry with coins. Lovely place which we found by coincidence. We go back soon !!!

+ We had a wonderful, relaxing break at the Villas Barrocal. Very quiet, relaxed atmosphere in a nice, safe location. We had no concerns about security at all. The apartment we were given was larger than expected, and it had the best equipped kitchen I have ever seen in holiday accommodation. I love to cook and I found everything I needed, even a kitchen wizz (hand blender) which I used in my own attempt at Caldo Verde (Portuguese kale soup). The staff were very friendly and helpful, even to the extent of making special arrangements for our extremely late check-in (after midnight). The cleaning ladies did a wonderful job; every time we went for a long walk on the beach we would return to a perfectly clean apartment with fresh sheets and towels. The free, fast Wi-Fi was also great, it extended to our apartment and enabled me to get a little work done in-between relaxing. Great place to stay. Highly recommended.

+ Villa très spacieuse, très soignée, très propre, bien située (à quelques km d'une grande plage et d'une ville très agréable (une voiture est cependant nécessaire). Aménagements extérieurs très soignés (jardins, piscine...) commerce à deux pas. C'est le meilleur hotel que nous ayons réservé par Booking.com. 10/10 merité!

+ The apartments are very wlecoming and there was a great family enviroment, not to croweded nor empty, just perfect, chlidren can run around freely. You do need a car to get to the beach or the nearest town.

+ D'abord le prix, en octobre les tarifs sont excellents Les villas sont très spacieuses, bien aménagées et de tout confort Les piscines & l'air de jeux sont très agréables Le coin barbecue assez chouette - Il faut avoir une voiture car c'est assez loin de tout Le coin barbecue necessiterait d'être mieux équipé (ni grilles, ni pinces, in même un éventail pour faire les braises)

+ Parkeren bij de villa's en achter afgesloten poort. Mooie ruime en propere appartementen die eruitzien als op de foto's In deze periode heel rustig. - Hebt om goed te zijn huurauto nodig
